SUMMARY:Iberoamerican Congress of Pulp and Paper Research (CIADICYP)
DESCRIPTION:The Iberoamerican Congress of Pulp and Paper Research (CIADICYP) has become the reference congress in the field of pulp and paper industry\, lignocellulosic materials and biorefineries over the past 20 years. \n \nThe 13th edition of CIADICYP\, themed “Building bridges between technology and sustainability”\, aims to show the recent scientific and technological advances of the sector and to lay the foundations for future strategic lines in the field of lignocellulosic materials and biorefineries. The congress will count on the participation of renowned researchers as plenary speakers who will provide a broad overview of the topics of the conference\, such as biorefinery and forest biomaterials\, bioeconomy\, trends in the pulp and paper industry\, energy\, environment\, and forestry. The event will also be an opportunity for the strengthening of friendships and scientific networks and the creation of new ones with young researchers and students. \nThis edition will take place from November 4 to 7\, 2024 in the city of Concepción (Chile)\, a friendly\, dynamic\, academic\, historic\, and well-connected city. Concepción is one of the most important cities in the country\, with an excellent hotel infrastructure\, a wide variety of cuisine\, attractions for all ages\, and just a short distance from beaches\, ski resorts\, forests\, and indigenous cultures. \nWe hope to see you in Concepcion for the 13th CIADICYP and look forward to working with you to define how we can become a more sustainable society.
